The CSI Alumni Association and Supporting Sponsor National Grid are giving the community a unique opportunity to taste some of the best food that Staten Island has to offer while helping to raise much-needed funds for scholarships.
The College of Staten Island is calling upon its community members to use their time, passion, skills, and willingness to help address New York City’s most pressing needs and make a difference.
The OUI Club (The Organization of Unique Individuals, The Students with Disabilities), supported by the Gay-Straight Alliance, the Christian Club, the Emerging Leaders, Student Government, and CSI staff members, took on last week’s snowy weather and this week’s cold to hold a two-day fundraiser, “A Little Love on Campus,” for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, raising over $1,000.
Two teams of upper-class marketing research students presented the results of their research projects from last semester to the American Cancer Society (ACS) and to the Council on the Arts and Humanities (COAHSI) last Wednesday at the College of Staten Island’s Center for the Arts.
